Susan E. Culver, 77, of Corry, PA, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa.
She was born on July 29, 1949, in Oil City, Pa, a daughter of the late William J. and Ruth E. (Dimond) DeLucia.
Susan was raised and educated in Oil City, Pa and was in the class of 1967. After high school, she married and started a family. Her main priority was raising and caring for her children. Once they were old enough, she worked in the area for Corry Manor, Groves Personal Care Home, Library Bar & Grill and then was a housekeeper at the Corry Manor for almost 20 years until she retired in 2020.
She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Culver, whom she married on March 25, 1967, in Corry; sister, Toni L. DeLucia and grandson, Nathan A. Barstow.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Frederick) Barstow of Corry; sister, Barbara Patterson of Crowley, Texas: three grandchildren, Amanda (Grant) Westerlund of Faulkner, NY, Kade Culver of Corry and Jacob Barstow of North East, Pa and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Susan’s dear friends and neighbors, John and Coleen Walls.
A celebration will be held at a later date.
Burial will be held privately by the family.
