A Lehigh Valley breakfast and lunch restaurant has set a reopening date after damage from a fire forced it to close.
The State Cafe and Grill will have a full reopening Thursday at 14-16 S. Fifth St. in Easton, owner Bill Sneeringer said, following its soft opening this weekend.
The restaurant closed in February due to a fire at the Hotel Hampton building at 462 Northampton St., causing the restaurant basement to flood with water runoff.
Some of the changes since the fire include new cold brews and physical work like new paint and bathroom renovations.
