State Rep. Joanne Stehr (R-107) will host “Prepared & Protected: Concealed Carry Fundamentals,” a free educational seminar for residents of the 107th District on Nov. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at the MOETS Sportsmen Education Center, 50 Gun Club Road, Valley View.
Whether you are considering obtaining a permit or looking to better understand your rights and responsibilities as a firearm owner, this program offers an opportunity to learn from experienced instructors in a welcoming environment. I hope you’ll join me for this informative community event.
The seminar will feature presentations by Scott Kroh of MOETS Sportsmen Education Center and Schuylkill County Sheriff Shawn Butler.
This course qualifies attendees for a Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms (LTCF). Participants may apply for and receive their permit during the course, pending successful completion of the Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) background check and payment of the required $20 fee. You must be at least 21 years old to obtain a Pennsylvania concealed carry permit, but those under 21 are welcome to attend the event.
