The Electric City Fall Festival came to downtown Scranton on Saturday, providing special treats, activities and food for shoppers and for those simply taking a walk through the city to enjoy bright foliage. Many of those attending said they especially appreciated the perfect “sweater weather” day, which provided an opportunity for children to sport costumes without needing to hide them with heavy coats. At Over the Moon children’s boutique, activities included a candy giveaway, balloon art and even a fashion show. The Giving Tree provided face painting, caricatures, vendors and specialty coffees. Other businesses provided similar treats and welcomed families for a day of fun and shopping.
