Expect lane restrictions, slowdowns this week on I-81 in Lackawanna County

DUNMORE — Drivers can expect lane restrictions and rolling slowdowns this week on Interstate 81 in Lackawanna County, the state Department of Transportation said.

Surveying work Monday from 7 p.m. to midnight will cause rolling slowdowns on I-81 north at the O’Neill Highway (Route 347) interchange.

Crews will work Tuesday through Thursday to relocate an emergency pull-off and perform line painting. There will be a lane restriction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on I-81 north from the Biden Expressway to the Interstate 84 split for that work.
