Can You Run Like Rocky? Steps Challenge Set for Nov. 7 at Museum of Art

Seventy-two steps in 12 seconds…think you can channel your inner Rocky Balboa?

On Saturday, Nov. 7, you can join the Rocky Steps Challenge. Held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, the event, hosted by the Philadelphia Visitor Center, gives people of all ages a chance to beat the clock and vie for prizes in a celebration marking Rocky’s 50th anniversary.

According to a PhillyVoice report, each person who completes the climb will receive a Rocky Season 2026 commemorative certificate and sweatband. Those who conquer the challenge in less than 11.7 seconds will earn a Rocky Shop prize and a $15 gift certificate from honeygrow.

Additionally, according to the PhillyVoice, one participant will receive a grand-prize package. The package includes a replica of Rocky’s Italian Stallion robe, tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers’ Rocky Night and the “Rocky at 50 Legacy Concert,” a copy of Sylvester Stallone’s memoir, The Steps, and a $100 gift certificate from honeygrow.

Participants can also put their reflexes to the test in the Orange Toss Sprint taking place across the museum’s front plaza.
