A woman was hospitalized, officials said, in a crash that led to the closure of northbound lanes along Route 1 — or Lincoln Highway — between Roosevelt Boulevard and Broad Street, through Philly’s Hunting Park section early Wednesday.
As of about 4:45 a.m., all lanes of traffic along Route 1 at the exit for U.S. Route 611 and Broad Street, were closed due to a crash in the roadway.
In a morning update, officials said one woman was hospitalized following the crash — though police did not immediately provide details on the severity of her injuries.

Also, as crews were working to clear this crash, officials said there was a second crash when, at about 6 a.m., a vehicle struck a police cruiser that was parked to close the roadway.
In this incident, officials said, a driver in a white car struck a police vehicle that was blocking Roosevelt Boulevard at 17th Street.
However, no one was injured in this second crash.
Because of the crash investigation and clean ups, officials said drivers should expect delays through that area this morning.
Police did not immediately say how the initial crash occurred.
But, clean ups were ongoing and an investigation into these crashes was underway.
Officials initially said the roadway was expected to be reopened by 6:30 a.m.
