We will see our first measurable rainfall in over two weeks.

November warmth sticks around through the end of the week with rain returning Wednesday evening.

Rain Returns Wednesday: Impact Day

Rain returns Wednesday in the late afternoon and evening and continues through early Thursday morning, making Wednesday an Impact Day. Rain will be falling for most of us by the time the evening commute starts with the heaviest rain overnight into early Thursday morning. Outside of some leftover showers Thursday, we will be cloudy and dry. This system will hang around the Ohio Valley through Friday with a chance of rain to end the week. Rain totals of a third to half an inch are expected around the Pittsburgh area.

Cooler Weekend Ahead

It is not just the rain that changes the weather story. The late-week front will plunge temperatures closer to normal, if not below-average. Highs will be in the 50s for the weekend with lows in the 30s. Temperatures look to remain more seasonal as we head into next week.
