The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a prescribed burn along Colorado 52 north of Erie on today.
People in Boulder County might see smoke north of Erie between the Weld County line and U.S. 287, according to a sheriff’s office social media post
The smoke is part of the prescribed burn, and anyone who sees the smoke is asked not to call 911 for smoke in that area, sheriff’s office spokesperson Vinnie Montez said in the video post.
If anyone sees smoke elsewhere, they should call 911 as always, Montez added.
