WFMZ-TV is just two days away from partnering with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the 11th Annual Coat Drive benefitting the Salvation Army.

People like you have contributed more than 2,300 coats over the last two years, and with winterlike weather settling in early this year, your donation is even more urgent!

“This is the 11th year, I think people look to us and look to this event. To help them get ready and get prepared for the winter months ahead. So for us it’s really important and especially this year,” said Darien Huaman of the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army says they’re looking for coats for mom and dads, senior citizens, and especially the little ones. And with the economy a constant issue with the price of everything going up, a donation this year could prevent a family from making the choice of food over warmth.
