Lake City Borough has announced a scheduled water service interruption affecting all residents and businesses on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The outage is part of a critical water line construction project aimed at enhancing the borough’s water infrastructure to ensure greater reliability and safety for the community.
Officials emphasize that this temporary inconvenience is necessary to complete improvements that will benefit residents long-term.
During the outage, customers are encouraged to store enough water in advance to meet their household and business needs throughout the day.
In addition, a boil water advisory will be in effect for all Lake City Borough customers until further notice. This precautionary measure ensures water safety following the restoration of service.
