ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Holiday lights, for nights on end.

69 News got a sneak peak at the Lehigh Valley IronPigs’ Illumination at Coca-Cola Park on Thursday night, just ahead of its grand opening Friday.

“So we’re actually really big baseball fans,” Emily Muthersbaugh said.

The Pigs are taking a swing at their own holiday lighting.

Muthersbaugh, a sponsor who was invited to the preview night, says the team knocked it out of the park.

“I feel like I’m blown away,” she said. “I don’t know what I expected, but I didn’t expect like lights everywhere, it was beautiful.”

“It just makes you feel like a kid again,” Trevor Henderson, visiting with Muthersbaugh, said. “Like get that Christmas spirit back in your adult life. It really felt special.”

Not only can you see approximately a million and a half lights — up from one million last year — you can also see brand-new attractions.

“So we’re talking carousel out front, hay rides, Mrs. Claus, curling lanes out in the bullpen,” Sam Jellinek, Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the IronPigs, said.

You can also warm up at the fire pits, maybe catch the Grinch being not-so-grinchy, check out both a fire thrower and an ice sculpture, all while feeling fake snow fall from above.

You can hit up the selfie stations, and you can walk through, hay-ride or take the Polar Express to see every bedazzled curve of the ballpark and beyond.

Alexa Ehrgott and her 5-year-old son Nolan were previewing the park, as family of a sponsor.

“I really like the walk-through experience,” Ehrgott said. “I’ve been to the drive-through ones, but I think this is way more interactive and I like that.”

Starting Friday, the event is every Friday through Sunday until the week of Thanksgiving. From there, it runs every single day all the way through the New Year, until January 3.

Tickets are $11 in November and $13 in December. Kids ages two and under are free. According to the website, advance purchases are encouraged as the price will increase the day of the event.
