Christ Episcopal Church: Delaware and Dundaff streets, Forest City, is accepting coats, blankets, scarves, gloves/mittens and snowsuits for its annual free coat distribution. Rescue & Restore Church: Members of the church at 120 Willow Ave. in Olyphant, the former Holy Ghost Parish, residents of the Valley, veterans or anyone wishing to support the church may preserve their family name or history on a beautifully designed memorial plaque inside the church for posterity. St. John’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral: Mayfield, is seeking creative crafters and vendors to participate in its Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 14-15 in the church center, 701 Hill St. The bazaar will be held indoors and will feature parish hospitality, homemade food, a basket raffle, homemade goodies, holiday music and shopping. Tables are limited, so vendors should secure their spots early. Vendor fees are modest; proceeds will support parish programs and outreach efforts.
