BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Officials christened the township’s new public safety annex during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday.

Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, Bensalem Township Council, and public safety officials gathered on Monday morning to celebrate the completion and official opening of a new public safety annex.

The building will house equipment used by police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel.

The equipment stored in the facility is vital to maintaining the mission of public safety and ensuring the security and longevity of these critical assets to the township, officials said.

“We want to thank Mayor DiGirolamo and the council members for their ongoing support of all first responders in Bensalem Township and for providing us with a state-of-the-art facility and equipment to fulfill our mission of keeping all visitors and residents of Bensalem Township safe,” Bensalem Police said in a statement.
