ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Tonight’s the night!
The 11th annual WFMZ and Lehigh Valley Phantoms Coat Drive kicks off in just a few hours. You can donate new or gently used coats at the PPL Center in Allentown from 5 to 7 p.m.
You can also drop them off at collection bins around Allentown and at the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem.
Organizers say children’s coats are in high demand.
Some familiar faces will be there collecting coats.
All donations will go to various Salvation Army programs. The coats will be distributed by the Salvation Army on Dec. 3.
Last year, we collected more than 1,000 coats, and with your help, we’re aiming to beat that number.
