OBITUARY
Ronald H. Thoman, 88, of Moscow died Monday at St. Mary’s Villa Skilled Nursing where he was a guest. His wife of 65 years is the former Katherine Backus.
Born July 15, 1937 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Herman and and Ruth (Tidd) Thoman. Ronald was a graduate of Moscow High School, and was employed for many years at Menasha Corporation in mechanical maintenance. He was a member of the Moscow United Methodist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his earlier years, Ronald had a great love of motorcycles, and enjoyed riding them very much.
In addition to his wife Ronald is survived by his sons: Ronald H. Thoman Jr. and wife Michelle, Robert Thoman and wife Theresa, and Gary Thoman and wife Jill; (7) grandchildren: Ronald, Alexandra, Christina, Heather, Chelsea, Gary II, and Cailie; and (12) great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter Sophie.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home 401 Church Street Moscow, PA with Rev. Jeff Rarich as officiating clergy.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment and committal prayers will be conducted at Fairview Memorial Park – Elmhurst Twp. PA.
