“When we work together to recycle properly, we can keep contaminants and other harmful materials from entering our environment,” Scranton Mayor Paige G. Cognetti said. “Whether it`s properly recycling an old television, plastic bottles, or paper and cardboard, our residents have more resources to keep the wrong items out of our local landfills.”
Residents can register at www.scrantonpa.gov/recycling.
For further recycling questions, residents can email Scranton Recycling and Safety Coordinator Chris McClatchy at recycle@scrantonpa.gov.
