SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — City of Scranton police are searching for a man they say went missing on Saturday.

25-year-old Jacob Wood went missing at 302 Lauer Avenue and was last seen wearing a blue Carhartt top, tan pants, and blue sneakers, according to police.

Authorities said Wood is about 5 feet and 8 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds.

Plains Twp. water main break affects approximately 100 customers

Wood is known to walk around Keyser Avenue and Dalton Street, Scranton police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Scranton Police Patrol Officer Dougherty at cdougherty@scrantonpa.gov or by calling the Scranton Police Desk at (570) 348-4134.

If seen, police ask residents not to approach Wood and notify Officer Dougherty.
