The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
Scott Miller
• Scott Miller, 34, whose last known address was in Philadelphia, is wanted on charges of receiving advance payment for service and failing to perform, receiving stolen property and deceptive business practices.
Police said that on March 31 the victim called Miller to do contract work on a Birdsboro residence, paying him $38,855. Miller never did the work, and the victim lost contact with him. He is wanted on similar charges out of Dauphin, York and Adams counties.
He is described as 6 feet 1 inch and 240 pounds.
Jose Reynoso-Pena
• Jose Reynoso-Pena, 39, whose last known address was in Philadelphia, is wanted on receiving stolen property charges.
Exeter Township police said that on April 26 Reynoso-Pena took the victim’s $25,000 vehicle without permission. Officers spotted the vehicle on Route 422 and attempted to make a vehicle stop, but Reynoso-Pena refused to stop. After crashing the vehicle, he fled on foot and was not apprehended.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches and 150 pounds.
