A man has died following a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood Sunday night. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2400 block of Webster Avenue around 6 p.m.Police said a man was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Surveillance video from Ann’s Market on the corner of Webster and Somers Street captured the shooting. A store clerk told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 the victim bought a snack and talked on the phone inside the market before leaving. Outside video shows the victim walking down Webster Avenue, when the shooter comes out of the shadows, turns and shoots the victim at least four times. The shooter then ran toward Somers Street. Police collected that video and other evidence on scene. No suspect has been identified. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 is working to learn more and will provide updates as they are made available.
