The average price of regular had been up and down for a few weeks in the Philadelphia market, most were offsetting ups and downs, but the most recent figures from GasBuddy show an upturn has developed.

• Fourth most expensive for the date behind 2022, 2023 and 2021.

• New Jersey: $3.02 per gallon, up a dime in the past month.

• Wilmington: $3.10 per gallon, up 28 cents in the past month.

• $3.03 per gallon average nationally, up 3.0 cents in the past month.

• $3.77 per gallon average price of diesel nationally, up 13 cents in the past month.

“With oil prices mostly stable near the $60 per barrel level, we’ve seen the national average move very little over the last few weeks. Roughly half of all states saw prices rise in the last week, while the other half saw prices fall,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. ‘With refinery maintenance nearing completion, we’ll likely see supply improve, and I’m hopeful this will bring the national average solidly below $3 per gallon by Christmas. As for Thanksgiving travel, GasBuddy’s Travel Survey, to be released tomorrow, will highlight some surprising shifts in travel behavior this year.”
