Upper Nazareth Police conduct 20 vehicle stops on stretch of road known as ‘Schoeneck Speedway’ | Nazareth Area

U. NAZARETH TWP., Pa. – Police in Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County say they stepped up enforcement on a stretch of road they say is known as “Schoeneck Speedway.”

After monitoring the road, officers recorded 20 vehicle stops and issued 17 citations and three written warnings, according to a Facebook post from township police.

Township police say they want to remind people that Schoeneck Avenue “is for commuters, not competitors. Let’s keep the racing on tv and drive safely!”
