BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Celebrations Wedding Venue — a popular Bucks County spot for nuptials — has sold for $6.85 million, according to reports.

The Bensalem Landmark Shopping Center acquired the venue and an adjacent shopping plaza from owner Francesco Dicianni, said the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Celebrations, located at 2201 Galloway Road, is a large event venue for weddings and other occasions, set within a space featuring elegant decor and a ballroom.

“We handle all of the details so that you can focus on the memories,” Celebrations’ slogan states on its website.

Celebrations touts itself as a venue with “distinguished surroundings and elegant service, the perfect combination for your wedding.”

The property is in a prime spot, located between Interstates 95 and 276, and a few miles from Parx Casino.

According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Celebrations’ liquor license was transferred with Dicianni still listed as manager on the reissued license, the business journal reported.

It is believed, according to the report, that Celebrations will still continue its normal operations.

Bensalem Landmark Plaza GP, which is included in the deal, houses a Fine Wine & Good Spirits store, Fabricare Laundromat, H.F. Hornberger’s Bakery, Nate Gordon’s Black Belt Academy, and several other tenants.

Two years ago, the landmark Fishers Banquet Hallwas listed for sale. The 64,400-square-foot property, which sits on 3.2 acres, was listed by NAI Mertz, a Mount Laurel, N.J.-based commercial real estate company, as a “redevelopment opportunity.”
