READING, PA. – The Reading Royals hosted the Wheeling Nailers at Santander Arena for their Education Game. Many schools in the area in attendance for puck drop.
Brayden Edwards finds Ryan Mahshie on the power play to put the Nailers up 1-0 in the first period.
The Nailer’s David Breazeale takes it down the ice himself to give Wheeling a cushion, 2-0.
Wheeling defeats the Royals, 2-0.
Anthony Peters stated, “I mean, I thought we had more chances than them I thought we did a really good job of defending, stuff happened for sure, for the most part. I don’t think they had many chances. Anytime they did. KP was obviously there, and he has been every game.”
The Royals managed to take 2 of 3 on the homestand. They will visit Wheeling on Friday night.
