FUND THIS YEAR. STORM TEAM LIVE RADAR NETWORK HAD SOME SHOWERS EARLIER THIS MORNING, BUT NOW WE’RE REALLY STARTING TO SEE DREARY AND OVERCAST CONDITIONS IS REALLY THE MAIN THEME FOR THE DAY TODAY. LET ME ZOOM OUT THE PICTURE TO SHOW YOU WHERE THIS DISTURBANCE WAS IS AT. CURRENTLY A WALK ON THIS SIDE OF THE SCREEN YOU SEE THAT THAT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING OUT TO SEA NOW THROUGH THE ATLANTIC. BUT WE HAVE THAT HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM THOUGH. IT’S GIVING US A BIT OF A CLOCKWISE FLOW FROM OFF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. AND WHAT’S HAPPENING, IT ALLOWS THIS MOISTURE TO START TO IT STARTS TO JUST SIT OVERHEAD THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. AND THAT ALLOWS FOR OVERCAST CONDITIONS. AND THAT’S REALLY GOING TO BE THE THEME FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS HERE. CLOUDY AND COOL CONDITIONS. BUT THEN WE ARE EXPECTING SOME SHOWERS LATE FRIDAY INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. WE ARE EXPECTING SOME SHOWERS DURING THAT TIME FRAME, BUT WE ARE EXPECTING AN EARLY A MILDER EARLY START TO THE WORKWEEK. WE’LL SHOW YOU THAT HERE IN THE TEN DAY FORECAST IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. SO THE FORECAST FOR THE DAY TODAY, 44 TO 48 DEGREES WITH THOSE OVERCAST CONDITIONS PERSISTING, COULD SEE SOME CLEARING LATE AS HIGH PRESSURE KIND OF STARTS TO WORK ITS WAY IN TO HELP CLEAR THE SKIES, BUT WILL BE REMAINING CALM AND COOL FOR THE DAY TODAY WITH A CALM NORTHWESTERLY BREEZE, MOSTLY CLOUDY, CHILLY DOWN INTO THE LOWER 30S FOR TONIGHT AND THEN AS WE GET INTO TOMORROW, MOSTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST WITH CALM AND COOL CONDITIONS. SO A LITTLE BIT OF A RINSE AND REPEAT AS WE’RE SEEING TODAY. GOING INTO TOMORROW, HERE’S SOME OF THE RAINFALL REPORTS PAST 24 HOURS AND CASHTOWN JUST OVER HALF INCH. SAME WITH DOVER 0.52IN IN QUARRYVILLE 0.44IN. JUST ABOUT 4/10 OF AN INCH IN HUMMELSTOWN, AND ABOUT A QUARTER OF AN INCH IN LEWISTOWN. THAT WAS AGAIN OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. SO THAT DISTURBANCE DIDN’T REALLY DO A WHOLE LOT, BUT CERTAINLY VERY BENEFICIAL RAIN BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE THE LATEST PRECIPITATION TOTALS. WE STILL ARE IN A DEFICIT ONLY ABOUT JUST SHY OF THAT SIX INCH MARK FOR THAT SEASON TO DATE. PRECIPITATION AMOUNT. BUT TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE AREA RANGING I’D SAY BETWEEN 38 AND 42 DEGREES. YOU CAN SEE LOW 40S FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE AREA. GOT A STRAY 39 DEGREE AIR TEMPERATURE IN LEWISTOWN, BUT HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS WILL BE SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. BACK TO MILDER CONDITIONS ONCE WE GET TO SUNDAY, MONDAY, AND TUESDAY, YOU CAN SEE STORM TEAM LIVE RADAR NETWORK. ONE MORE TIME. Clouds will linger throughout the day, with some clearing toward evening, as high pressure builds across the Northeast. Highs will reach 46 degrees, and winds will be light.Tonight, lows will fall to 32 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.Thursday will feature lots of clouds, light winds, and highs in the mid-to-upper 40s.By Friday, a few breaks of sun are possible, leading to milder highs in the low 50s. A system moving by to our south Friday night will bring in the chance of showers.A cold front will pass early Saturday leading to a few showers in the morning. Most of Saturday will be dry and seasonable, as highs reach the low 50s.More sunshine arrives Sunday through early next week. Highs will stay in the low 50s with dry weather Monday for pre-Thanksgiving travel.We’re watching a wet weather system that could bring rain late Tuesday into Wednesday.
