The northbound lanes of I-79 in Kennedy Township are shut down due to a rollover crash.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. on Thursday just sound of the “S bends” near the Neville Island Bridge.
All northbound traffic has been shut down while first responders are at the scene of the crash.Â
PennDOT says the closure is between the Crafton/Moon Run (Exit 60A) and the Coraopolis/McKees Rocks (Exit 64) interchanges.Â
It’s unclear whether any injuries have been reported or what led up to the crash.
A timeframe on when traffic is expected to start moving again on I-79 is unknown at this time.Â
