World War II veteran Francis B. Hodorowski of Olyphant celebrated his approaching 100th birthday at a Veterans Day event Nov. 11 at the Olyphant American Legion. Hodorowski was honored for his military and community service. He earned a combat infantry badge, good conduct medal, American Theater ribbon and Victory ribbon.
