A man is in critical condition after being shot in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday in the 1400 block of S. Vodges Street.
Police say the victim showed up to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest.
When police arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found 30 shell casings and several bullets that had hit a nearby home.
Several adults and children were inside the home when some of the bullets went through the front door and windows, but no one else was hurt.

Officials say they believe this is a targeted shooting but are unsure if the victim was the intended target.
Police are checking surveillance cameras on the block for more information.
So far, there are no suspects and no motive.
