LumiNature is back, transforming the Philadelphia Zoo into a glowing nighttime wonderland.
This is your chance to experience brilliant light sculptures that shimmer along the paths, turning every corner into a sparkling surprise.
Displays include a 40-foot-tall penguin glowing with 40,000 lights and the iconic pink flamingo tree, built with 1,500 lawn ornament flamingos and so much more.
Once you have finished seeing all the whimsical wildlife scenes, you can visit Santa’s Lodge and say hello to Saint Nick himself.
And the experience doesn’t end there because you can also hang out at Jambi’s Solstice Saloon, which serves up cocktails and mocktails.
Also, don’t forget to check out the “Philly Zoo Pherris Wheel,” a new 110-foot-tall observation wheel situated where the former Zoo Balloon once stood, offering breathtaking views of the zoo, city skyline, and beyond.
Unfortunately, you will not see any animals during your visit because most will be sleeping inside their indoor exhibits.
LumiNature is open from 5 to 9 p.m. on select nights, November 20, 2025, through January 3, 2026.
Ticket prices vary by date; check out philadelphiazoo.org/luminature to plan your trip today.
