LONGTIME VOTER RECOGNITION PIC.png

At a Board of Elections meeting on Nov. 20, a longtime voter was recognized for her civic responsibility.

Erie County Resident Jacque Foust was inducted to the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame after voting consecutively at every November Election for the past 50 years.

Chairman Chris Drexel presented Foust with the award on behalf of Governor Josh Shapiro and Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt.

When asked about the importance of voting, Foust stated, “Voting is probably the best thing you can do. People take it lightly, and they shouldn’t, because if you don’t vote, what do you have to gripe about?”
