READING, Pa. – The United Way of Berks County is thanking the local community for its overwhelming support after the organization reached a fundraising milestone.

A celebration was held Thursday night at the Redner’s Event Center inside Reading’s FirstEnergy Stadium to announce the United Way’s 2025 campaign total.

The organization exceeded its $10.75 million goal, raising a total of $11,057,115 for local programs that provide hope and opportunity while helping those in need in Berks County.

United Way of Berks County offers over 80 programs that advance literacy, school readiness, education, food security, health and workforce development to help local children and families thrive.

Officials say the funds raised are a testament to Berks County’s commitment to helping others and strengthening the community.
