Soup sale: Trinity Episcopal Church is holding a homemade soup sale until the end of winter or until soups run out. Quarts, $9; pints, $5. There is also chili and stew available in pints for $6. Christmas at the Museum: 2025 Christmas at the Museum, Nov. 29, Forest City Area Historical Society, Main and Dundaff streets. Doors open 11 a.m. Christmas caroling, 1 p.m. Includes food, vendors and a “Cram the Cruiser” toy drive in the Honesdale National Bank parking lot from noon to 2 p.m. Community tree lighting, 5 p.m., followed by choral and band concert at the museum. Scranton
Community Day: Everhart Museum hosting Snow Much Fun Community Day, Dec. 6. The event will explore how cultures around the globe celebrate winter, share kindness and stay warm. Free museum admission, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free activities, crafts and entertainment, noon to 4 p.m. Swap Scranton will host a free community clothing swap during the event. Bus trip: AARP NEPA Chapter 3731 will host a bus trip to the premiere showing of “Joshua” at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster County, May 29.
