ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A 29-year-old Allentown man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Allentown on Friday night.
The Lehigh County Coroner says the man was struck and run over by a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of S. 4th Street at approximately 7:55 p.m. Friday.
The man was transported to the hospital, but was pronounced dead at 8:43 p.m. in the Emergency Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, according to the coroner’s press release.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
The man has not been publicly identified.
Allentown Police, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the accident.
