Former Philadelphia Flyers players including Bill Clement and Bill Barber spoke at a celebration of life for the late Bernie Parent on Friday night. Parent, a two-time Vezina Trophy winner and Stanley Cup champion for the Broad Street Bullies, died in September at age 80. At Saturday night’s game, the Flyers will give out a commemorative No. 1 patch honoring Parent’s retired jersey number.
