The Crestwood High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 18 at PNC Field in Moosic. The chapter raised $1,856.71 to support the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to advance research, provide care and support, and promote awareness of Alzheimer’s disease.

In addition to walking in the event, Crestwood FBLA members volunteered throughout the day, assisting with event setup, registration and activities at the Kids’ Corner.

“Supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s allowed our members to give back in a meaningful way,” said Christy Laubach, chapter adviser. “It’s inspiring to see our students come together to make a difference for such an important cause.”
