ARLINGTON, Texas — The Eagles are down just one offensive lineman as they get set to face the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.
Right tackle Lane Johnson (foot) was ruled out on Friday and will miss a few weeks after suffering a Lisfranc sprain last week. While the Eagles are without Johnson, they will have center Cam Jurgens.
Jurgens on Saturday cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and the questionable status he was given the day before was removed. Jurgens is officially active and will play against the Cowboys.
Here’s the full list of Eagles inactives for Sunday:
OT Lane Johnson (foot)
QB Sam Howell (emergency QB)
RB A.J. Dillon
CB Mac McWilliams
DT Ty Robinson
While Johnson is expected to be out a month or more, the Eagles did not place him on Injured Reserve ahead of this game. Johnson will not need surgery and there’s a chance Johnson could return within four weeks, NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark confirmed. In the meantime, Fred Johnson will start at right tackle.
Jurgens missed the Giants and Packers games with a knee injury before returning against the Lions. He then suffered a concussion late in that game. Veteran Brett Toth will be available against the Cowboys as his backup.
The Eagles on Saturday did not elevate any players from the practice squad. They also did not activate rookie OL Willie Lampkin or OT Myles Hinton from Injured Reserve.
Rookie fifth-round center Drew Kendall is active for the fourth time this season.
