Mostly clear and relaxing winds this evening, then tracking rain chances this holiday week for south-central Pennsylvania

Clouds decrease through the early afternoon. Monday looks mainly sunny with high clouds returning late in the day. Both days remain milder than average. Rain chances are back on Tuesday.

BUT WE DIDN’T GET TO SEE THEM LAST NIGHT. PROBABLY GOING TO SEE THEM TONIGHT, BUT IT WAS PRETTY MILD OUT THERE. IT WAS A VERY IT VERY IT VERY WAS IT WAS IT REALLY WAS A GOOD IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUT THERE, AT LEAST IN MY OPINION. IT WAS VERY IT WAS VERY MILD OUT THERE FOR NOVEMBER STANDARDS AS WELL. SO IN TERMS OF THE WEATHER HEADLINES AND ALSO GETTING INTO THE UPCOMING WEEK ESPECIALLY, IT’S A BIG TRAVEL WEEK FOR EVERYBODY. EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN. AS I MAKE IT OUT TO MY EXTENDED FAMILY’S HOUSE. SO CLEARING SKIES, THE BREEZE WILL SETTLE FOR THIS EVENING. WE ARE STAYING MILD, BUT THE RAIN RETURNS FOR TUESDAY AND THEN ALSO GOING TO BE COLD AND BLUSTERY FOR THANKSGIVING. SO WE’RE GOING TO SHOW YOU THIS FULL FORECAST HERE IN JUST A COUPLE MINUTES. MOSTLY CLEAR. BREEZE SETTLES 42 DEGREES FOR THIS EVENING. MOSTLY CLEAR FOR TONIGHT. SEASONABLE DOWN TO THE 30S THEN MOSTLY SUNNY FOR TOMORROW. COULD SEE SOME HIGH CLOUDS IN THE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING, BUT TEMPERATURES WILL BE STILL MILD INTO THE LOWER 50S FOR THE DAY, SO HANGING CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TOMORROW GOING TO BE A BETTER DAY IF YOU WANT. IF YOU’RE STILL TRYING TO GET THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS UP BEFORE COMPANY COMES OVER FOR THANKSGIVING, YOU HAVE YOUR CHANCE FOR YOUR MONDAY. TUESDAY. REALLY SHOULD. IT’S FAIR, SHOULD BE RATED POOR. I WOULD SAY THIS IS BORDERLINE POOR. FOR YOUR TUESDAY. WE ARE TRACKING CHANCES FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS FOR TUESDAY. ALSO POOR FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY. LOOKING AT A FEW AFTERNOON EVENING SHOWERS FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY. SO ALMANAC FOR THE DAY TODAY. HIT A HIGH OF 53 TODAY. AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR 51. SO A COUPLE DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR AND A LITTLE BIT BELOW AVERAGE IN TERMS OF IN TERMS OF NOVEMBER STANDARDS, IN TERMS OF WHAT WE EXPECT FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS, 34 IS WHAT WE EXPECT. 29 WAS LAST NIGHT’S LOW AND ABOUT 100TH OF AN INCH OF RAIN IS WHAT WE RECORDED AT HARRISBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. TEMPERATURES INTO THE INTO THE 40S. WE SEE COLD SPOT IN YORK RIGHT NOW, 35 DEGREES 50 IN GETTYSBURG AND CHAMBERSBURG. AT THIS TIME, THE WINDS HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT BREEZY. TODAY YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE BIT OF A NINE MILE PER HOUR BREEZE, BORDERLINE TEN MILE PER HOUR BREEZE IN LEWISTOWN, A FIVE MILE PER HOUR BREEZE IN CARLISLE. BUT WINDS HAVE BEGUN TO RELAX. EARLIER WE HAD ABOUT ABOUT BETWEEN 10 AND 15MPH. EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. STORM TEAM, LIVE RADAR NETWORK. ALL IS QUIET, ALL THANKS TO HIGH PRESSURE THAT’S BUILDING INTO THE AREA. WE DO HAVE A BIT OF A WEAK COLD FRONT THAT’S GOING TO PASS THROUGH OR CONTINUE TO PASS THROUGH. THAT’S GOING TO HELP TRY TO LOWER OUR TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY, BUT NOT REALLY GOING TO BE DOING MUCH WORK WITH THAT STILL GOING TO BE REMAINING MILD, ALL THANKS TO THE RIDGING OF HIGH PRESSURE THAT’S GOING TO MOVE IN. BUT THEN ONCE WE GET INTO MONDAY EVENING ALL RIGHT. SO WE START TO SEE SOME CLOUDS ON THE INCREASE AS WE GET INTO LATE MONDAY. THEN ONCE WE GET INTO TUESDAY, HERE COMES OUR NEXT SYSTEM. NOT GOING TO BE SEEING TOO MUCH ACTION IN TERMS OF PRECIPITATION FOR YOUR TUESDAY MORNING. BUT THEN ONCE WE GET INTO LATE MORNING, INTO THE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING, THAT’S WHEN WE’RE GOING TO SEE OUR NEXT CHANCE OF SOME SCATTERED SHOWER ACTIVITY FOR YOUR TUESDAY. NOW, WIDENING OUT THE PICTURE TO LOOK NATIONWIDE AT THIS TIME, YOU CAN SEE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING TOWARDS THE SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTRY. MILD AS WELL, BUT LOCALLY FOR THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY, IF YOU’RE JUST TRAVELING IN STATE OR JUST SLIGHTLY OUT OF STATE TOWARDS NEW YORK, WE DO HAVE A COLD FRONT THAT’S GOING TO START TO MOVE THROUGH ON WEDNESDAY. BUT THEN IN THE WAKE OF IT, YOU CAN SEE BLUSTERY AND COLDER CONDITIONS ARE ON TAP FOR US AS WE GET INTO NOT ONLY WEDNESDAY, BUT ALSO GETTING INTO THURSDAY. SOMETHING ELSE THAT I WANT TO NOTE HERE AS WE GET INTO AS WE GET INTO OUR THURSDAY, YOU CAN SEE THERE’S A BUNCH OF SNOW UP TOWARDS OUR FAR NORTHERN AREAS, NORTHEASTERN AREAS, I SHOULD SAY TOWARDS THE GREAT LAKES. BUT I WANT TO ZOOM IN TOWARDS THE COMMONWEALTH TO KIND OF HIGHLIGHT THIS. IF YOU HAVE FAMILY OR IF YOU’RE PLANNING ON MAKING A TRIP TOWARDS ESPECIALLY NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE COMMONWEALTH, YOU CAN SEE THERE’S SOME POTENTIAL LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACTIVITY THAT’S GOING TO BE HAPPENING FROM THURSDAY TILL ABOUT SATURDAY, POSSIBLY AS WE GET INTO THE END OF THE WORKWEEK, SO THAT YOUR TRAVEL PLANS JUST A HEADS UP IF YOU PLAN ON TRAVELING TOWARDS NORTHWESTERN AREAS, MAY BE IMPACTED BY POTENTIAL LAKE EFFECT SNOW TOWARDS TOWARDS THE END OF THE WORKWEEK. NOW LOCALLY NOT EXPECTING ANY OF THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW, WE’RE EXPECTING BLUSTERY CONDITIONS STILL GOING TO BE CHILLY INTO THE 40S. JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND IF YOU’RE IF YOU’RE TRAVELING TOWARDS FAR NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE, BUT YOU CAN SEE SHOWER CHANCES TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY GETTING IN
