BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Thanks to strong support from the Lehigh Valley community, Historic Hotel Bethlehem earned its fifth straight victory in USA Today’s 10Best Historic Hotel/Resort contest.

“That’s five stars in five years!” said Bruce Haines, the hotel’s managing partner.

“We are beyond grateful to our local community for helping us shoot for the stars year after year. Historic Hotel Bethlehem was founded as a community hotel and we are proud that we’ve remained a community cornerstone for more than 100 years.”

The contest played out in two rounds.

First, a panel of travel experts selected their favorite 20 historic hotels and resorts.

Then, the public voted to determine the top 10 rankings.

Individuals and businesses cannot purchase a USA Today 10Best nomination, and nominations are based solely on expert input and public voting.

“These nominations were carefully curated by a panel of subject matter experts and USA TODAY 10BEST editors before being voted on by the public, so you’ve earned some serious bragging rights!” USA Today 10Best editor Maggie Tyner said in a written statement.
