BENSALEM, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting that was reported late Friday afternoon at the Neshaminy State Park Marina.

The incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. Authorities said a 47-year-old Croydon man came to the park with a firearm. He encountered two other men while they were fishing. One of the men, a 22-year-old from Bensalem, fired his handgun and struck man in the leg, police said.

The Croydon man fled the scene in his vehicle but was stopped and later treated by Bensalem EMS for his injuries.

“There is no danger to the public related to this incident,” State Police said.

The people involved have not been identified by police.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Troop M Trevose Criminal Investigation Unit.
