Popular Thanksgiving foods have become increasingly more expensive.


Thanksgiving is less than a week away, and this weekend, Americans will be heading to grocery stores to get traditional holiday foods, but will they be paying more or less this year?

According to a new report from the group Groundwork Collaborative, on average, a typical meal will cost Americans about 10% more across the board.

Elizabeth Pancotti, Managing Director of Policy and Advocacy, says there are many different factors to blame for the increases.

Unfortunately, if you want that perfect meal, Pancotti says there’s really no escaping the prices.
