The Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill is back for its 37th year, starting Dec. 3.
Presented by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department, visitors can stroll the grounds to view a glistening light display that highlights the historic buildings and landscaping at Gring’s Mill, 2083 Tulpehocken Road, Spring Township.
The display will be open the following days from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with free parking and admission:
• Dec. 3 to 7.
• Dec. 10 to 14.
• Dec. 16 to 23.
Visitors also can enjoy food and beverages from local food trucks, warm up next to the fire pit and listen to live music in the outdoor pavilion each night. Music is from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
A model train is also on display in the former generator station on the bridge.
Santa will be on-site on all opening days in his Christmas Tree Lane in the barn, featuring trees decorated by community groups.
Other special programming includes the sensory-friendly night on Dec. 11, and the Winter Solstice Celebration on Dec. 21, featuring King Winter and a luminary lighting.
