PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at about 12:26 a.m. on the 2100 block of North 32nd Street in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, police said.
Shot and killed was 46-year-old Reginald H. Bates.
Police said a 19-year-old man is sought in connection with the killing.
Officers were called to the area for a report of a shooting, and found Bates unresponsive in a property on that block.
He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest on the property’s kitchen floor.
Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:47 a.m.
No details on the wanted 19-year-old suspect were provided.
