If you’re hoping that your flight will leave on time in Pittsburgh, statistics from the Bureau of Transportation show you’re in luck.Pittsburgh International Airport is among the major airports with the most on-time departures from August 2024 to July 2025. Between that time period, 85% of the 18,500 flights departed on time. The data puts PIT at the 9th best for departures, just above John Glenn Columbus International and under Cleveland-Hopkins International, both in Ohio. Daniel K. Inouye International in Honolulu had the most on-time departures from August 2024 to July 2025, while Dallas-Fort Worth International had the lowest at 71%.As for on-time arrivals, Pittsburgh is a bit further down on the list. Out of 50 other airports, Pittsburgh sits at 22 for on-time arrivals, with 81% of those 18,500 flights arriving on time.
