Michael “Dinger” Holzinger
OBITUARY
Michael “Dinger” Holzinger, 73, of Alsace Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading.
Born in Reading on June 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Dorothy “Dot” (Matz) Holzinger and Francis “Franny” Holzinger.
A graduate of Reading High School, Michael retired from the City of Reading Parks Department after many dedicated years of service. He had a deep love for fishing, animals, Music and he cherished time spent with his friends—whether at the races or at various local private clubs. He was also a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Dinger is survived by his children, Jesse Holzinger and Danielle Arce ; his loving companion, Janine Hecht; and his grandchildren, Juliana and Sophia Holzinger, Dominic Hecht, and Noel and Noah Arce.
