LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District has cause to celebrate, as its two high schools were ranked among the best in the state, and the nation.
U.S. News & World Report released its 2025-2026 Best High Schools Rankings.
In the rankings, Lower Merion High School and Harriton High School came in at No. 11 and No. 12 statewide. The schools were also ranked No. 492 and No. 510 nationally.
Lower Merion High School also ranked No. 480 nationally in STEM schools.
Meanwhile, Harriton High School was No. 341 in STEM schools nationally.
The U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools Rankings evaluates schools based on performance on state assessments, graduation rates, and how well they prepare students for college-level coursework.
