BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Police are investigating a pedestrian accident that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Northampton County. 

County dispatchers say that the incident happened at the intersection of Linden and Goepp streets, and was reported just before 3:00 p.m..

The injured pedestrian was determined to be a 65-year-old woman, who was transported to a local hospital, according to officials. 

From the initial investigation, it appears that the woman was using a crosswalk on Linden Street when the involved vehicle turned from Goepp Street onto Linden Street, according to Bethlehem police. 

The incident remains under investigation, and any witnesses are asked to contact the Bethlehem Police Department at 610-865-7000.
