Thanksgiving Eve is here! Restaurants across our area said it is always a busy night.

“The energy is definitely high with people back in town wanting to meet old friends and we’re a great gathering place,” said Rich Fegley, one of the owners of Fegley’s Brew Works. “Here we just make sure we’re fully stocked and we’re going to be staffed. Plenty of bartenders on to handle the bar service cause it will definitely be busy downstairs,” said Fegley.

He said there are also several pool tables for people to enjoy.

“We’ve been here for over 27 years, so it’s sort of a place to go on Thanksgiving Eve,” said Fegley.

“Every Thanksgiving Eve is a solid night for us and certainly a lot of restaurants and bars around town,” said Ed Hanna, owner of Union and Finch in Allentown.

Hanna said the restaurant is fully staffed and ready to go from the kitchen to servers.

“We’ll see a good crowd of diners tonight for sure,” said Hanna.

He said it is always an energetic Thanksgiving Eve.

“People are looking forward to the holiday and it’s important that you know that you give them an atmosphere where they feel welcomed obviously, but some are energetic that they come and just hang out and kick back a little bit,” said Hanna.
