In an effort to help fans leave the Lincoln Financial Field parking lots more quickly after Friday’s Eagles game against the Chicago Bears, the City of Philadelphia will test a new traffic pattern.
City officials shared in a news release that this traffic management plan for Friday, November 28, 2025, is designed to provide drivers traveling onto the Walt Whitman Bridge/I-76 East with a faster route along Darien Street from Pattison Avenue.
The Walt Whitman Bridge on-ramp will not be accessible from Packer Avenue eastbound at 10th Street, officials said.
Drivers are urged to follow the directions of police officers directing traffic.
If you are using parking lots Q, R, V, W, or X looking to enter I-95 or I -76E, they will not be able to access Packer Avenue eastbound at 10th Street. Other access points are Broad Street, Darien Street, and Front Street.
“This is a test exercise to improve lot exit time; your patience and feedback are appreciated,” city officials wrote.
