Marywood University Associate Professor of History Adam Shprintzen, Ph.D., decided that teaching students about Revolutionary War dueling could best be accomplished with real-life demonstrations — using foam-based weaponry. The students got into the spirit of the lesson using Nerf guns on Thursday outside the Learning Commons at the campus in Dunmore. Shprintzen is also director or Marywood’s honors program.
