Both teams are coming off tough games. Bishop Guilfoyle won a defensive battle 7-6 over Westinghouse last week, while Belmont Charter won a 52-40 shootout over Lackawanna Trail.
In the most recent PennLive Class 1A rankings, Bishop Guilfoyle (12-2) is No. 3 and Belmont Charter (11-1) is No. 4.
The quest for a trip to the 2025 PIAA state championships is nearing an end. The finals in all classifications will be played Dec. 4-6 at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.
